What’s Cooking? Bite-sized Humor

It’s true the only person you can change is you, but we find this hard to swallow. I know I’ve gagged on this medicine. It’s bitter, and the label is off-putting: Blame & Criticism Remedy.

We nitpick, slipping into focusing on how irritating the people we love the most are.

It’s Sunday, and Macaroni and his wife, Cheese, have gone to church. They did not take their medicine before leaving the house. What occurs is a shocking twist, a cautionary catastrophe. A consequence for not heeding that Bible verse remove the log in your own eye before removing the splinter in another’s eye (I’ve paraphrased). This is why Macaroni and Cheese are not invited to Sunday lunch…

Food for thought?
